We would like to acquaint you with our shop. We started Quilters by the Square on April 1st 1999. (We are so pleased that it wasn't an April Fools joke!). The store is located just off of the "Square", on West Street, in Goderich. There are a good number of specialty shops and businesses all within walking distance of our store.

The best word for our fabric choices is eclectic. All of our fabric is 100% cotton with a great variety of styles ranging from country, batiks, brights, architectural, reproductions and much more. (Our accountant fails to see the necessity of buying more fabric, he isn't a Quilter!).

Quilters by the Square is continually evolving as we hear what our customers are looking for. Our trips to Spring Quilt Market are a great success as far as finding new patterns and suppliers. There is a steady supply of new products or techniques for you to discover. Whether you are interested in taking a class or just want to see what is new, come in and see us.

Our notion supply is always being updated, we carry stencils, pencils, 100% cotton thread in spools and cones, John James and Piecemaker needles, rotary mats, rulers & tools, pins, hoops, 505 basting spray, Machingers, YLI quilting threads, Roxanne's thimbles, gift items and much more.

Books and patterns are continually moving in and out of the store. If you have heard of something new, just ask us to find it for you. We know that both books and patterns are getting costly, so we try to find what you really want.

For those of you who are crafters too, we carry fur, bear and bunny patterns, joints, doll/critter patterns, accessories, DMC floss, wool felt and a great selection of specialty items.

Gather some friends, hop in the car and come to see us on Ontario's West Coast, in Goderich Ontario. Quilters by the Square is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5:30 pm. You will enjoy the experience!
